Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know

Tampa Bay Inferno will host two open tryouts on October 3 and October 17, 2026, at Forest Hills Recreation Center in Tampa, FL. Registration opens at 9:00 AM, with tryouts running from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM. Athletes only need to attend one tryout date. The one-time registration fee is $40, and proof of active health insurance is required to participate. You can register in advance here!

No. Athletes of all experience levels are encouraged to try out. Whether you have years of football experience or are brand new to tackle football, we’re looking for athletes who compete with purpose, embrace the challenge, and are ready to help elevate the Tampa Bay Inferno.

We’re looking for talented, committed coaches, including position coaches—and passionate individuals interested in helping support our team on game days.

Coaching is a meaningful commitment running from January 2027 through July 2027, with open workouts beginning in September 2026. If you’re interested in joining the Inferno coaching staff, please reach out through our contact form or join us at a practice to learn more about the team, our culture, and available opportunities.

We’re currently building partnerships for the 2027 season and welcome businesses and organizations of all sizes.
