Fueling Change Beyond the Field

From youth camps and mentorship programs to local outreach and charitable initiatives, the Inferno Women’s Football Foundation is committed to making an impact far beyond the game. Every appearance, every handshake, and every act of service reflects our mission to inspire, uplift, and create lasting change across the Tampa Bay community.

Brittany Persaud is an entrepreneur, former collegiate basketball player, and passionate advocate for women and girls. She earned her degree in Marketing from the University of Tampa and went on to build a successful career as a plus-size model, championing representation, confidence, and inclusivity.

Alongside her husband, Brittany is the co-owner of Persaud Legacy Farms, a premier equestrian facility rooted in excellence, community, and legacy. She is also the founder of Modern Matriarch Summit, an annual gathering designed to help women build lives, relationships, influence, and community with intention.

A devoted mother of three, Brittany is passionate about creating opportunities for women and girls through leadership, mentorship, and meaningful connection. Her work is driven by a belief that confidence, belonging, and access can change the trajectory of a life.

Ashley Danielle Kowal is a successful business executive, co-founder of a workforce solutions firm, and proven leader with a track record of building brands, cultivating high-
value partnerships, and driving business expansion. Known for her expertise in culture development, public relations, and community stewardship, Ashley has successfully advised boards and helped scale businesses through innovative leadership and growth-focused strategies.

Ashley also has a distinguished career in professional sports and entertainment, serving as captain for cheerleading teams in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the NHL with the Tampa Bay Lightning, and Arena Football with the Tampa Bay Storm. Her leadership, charisma, stage presence, and strong community presence earned her the prestigious Fan Favorite Cheerleader Award, further solidifying her role as a recognized ambassador within the Tampa Bay sports community.

In addition to her business and sports accomplishments, in 2020 Ashley started the podcast Live Bold and Boss Up which provided business owners, entrepreneurs, and community leaders together to share their stories and thought leadership with over 200 episodes. Ashley now runs the podcast “Crash Course with Ash” focused on scaling businesses, personal development through experiences, chasing what actually matters.

Denise Vazquez Troutman is an accomplished nonprofit executive, strategic advisor, and organizational leader with more than 25 years of experience across both the corporate and nonprofit sectors. She is known for her ability to strengthen organizations, build collaborative partnerships, and inspire individuals and teams to reach their full potential.

Ms.Troutman previously served as President and CEO of The Center for Women and Families in Louisville, Kentucky, the largest women’s health and domestic violence service organization in the state. In this role, she led an organization operating eight locations across two states, delivering critical services to women and children while managing a $5 million operating budget and a staff of more than 100. Her leadership responsibilities included board relations, fiscal oversight, fundraising and donor engagement, program administration, grant management, community partnerships, and public awareness initiatives.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Troutman held senior leadership positions in human resources with several major organizations. At Starbucks, she served as Southeast Regional Manager of Human Resources, providing HR leadership across seven states and more than 140 retail locations while leading initiatives in employee relations, management development, and diversity and inclusion. Prior to that, she spent a decade with Oracle Corporation, where she held multiple leadership roles in operations and human resources, including serving on the management team responsible for launching and scaling a worldwide customer support center in Orlando, Florida. Her work included workforce planning, diversity recruitment strategies, organizational development, and international HR initiatives.

Ms.Troutman also served as Vice President of Human Resources for YMCA of Greater Louisville, where she provided HR leadership for more than 1,500 employees across 12 branches and numerous community programs.

Throughout her career, Ms. Troutman has been recognized as a gifted communicator and storyteller who helps organizations clearly articulate their mission, build trust with stakeholders, and cultivate strong community relationships. Her areas of expertise include strategic planning, board development, leadership coaching, fundraising, organizational management, and public speaking.

Fluent in Spanish and widely traveled internationally, she brings a global perspective to her work and maintains a deep commitment to service, equity, and community empowerment.

Zak Zumbiel is entering his seventh season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as Senior Manager of Community Impact. With more than 15 years of experience in professional sports, he has held roles with three different NFL organizations, building a strong background in community engagement, youth development, and sports leadership.

Zak earned his Master’s degree in Sport Leadership from the University of Kentucky and currently helps lead all youth football initiatives for the Buccaneers. A key focus of his work is expanding access to flag football and supporting the continued growth of the sport as momentum builds toward its inclusion in the 2028 Olympic Games. Through his leadership, Zak is committed to creating opportunities for young athletes and strengthening the connection between sports and community impact.

Jenna Kidd is a proud graduate of Webber International University, where she earned a degree in Sports Business Management with a minor in Marketing while competing as a member of the women’s soccer team. She currently serves as Senior Account Coordinator, Partnerships, where she plays an integral role in managing, trafficking, and reporting on the department’s media assets. Jenna supports partner and prospect engagement initiatives, leads hospitality efforts, oversees platform management, and helps maintain financial and inventory reporting. She also manages a growing portfolio of partnerships.

Having been involved in sports throughout her life, Jenna is passionate about creating opportunities for women both on and off the field. She believes in fostering environments where women can show up fully and authentically while pursuing their goals. Jenna is also a strong advocate for mental health awareness, committed to supporting access to the resources, outlets, and conversations that empower individuals to thrive both personally and professionally.

Jennifer Moody is the owner of the Tampa Bay Inferno, a professional women’s tackle football team in the WFAPro division of the Women’s Football Alliance. A former wide receiver and punt returner for the Pittsburgh Passion, Jen was part of the 2007 national championship team, featured on ESPN’s SportsCenter, and appeared in a 2009 documentary on women’s football. She played a role in growing the Passion’s operations and co-founded the Passion For Life Foundation, which uses sport to teach life lessons and make a positive impact. Her shoulder pads are on display at the Heinz History Center in Pittsburg.

Jen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Waynesburg University and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pittsburg. Now based in Tampa, she works as Director of Administration at the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA and launched the Inferno Women’s Football Foundation to promote athlete mental wellness and create more opportunities for girls and women in sports. Her leadership continues to shape the future of women’s football on and off the field.

Alex Farris is a seasoned legal professional focusing in immigration law with extensive experience advising on complex immigration and regulatory matters within the financial services industry. Based in Tampa, FL, he currently serves as Senior Lead Counsel 1 / SVP in the Immigration Law Unit at Citibank where he provides strategic legal guidance on immigration compliance, policy interpretation, and risk mitigation for one of the world’s largest global financial institutions. Prior to his role at Citi, Alex built a strong foundation in immigration law through progressive external counsel positions, consistently supporting individuals and cross-border talent mobility and workforce development in diverse corporate environments. He is known for his pragmatic approach to legal problem-solving and his commitment to aligning regulatory compliance with individual and organizational goals.

Alex holds a Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law and is admitted to practice in Florida. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tampa in Government and World Affairs.

He actively volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay and is strongly committed to supporting local environmental organizations and initiatives.
Lauren was recognized as a WLRN “Woman of Excellence” in 2022 and currently serves on the board of the Tampa Bay Inferno Women’s Football Foundation. Lauren graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Psychology and holds both her Y-USA Organizational Leader and Global Leader certifications.

Outside of his professional life, Alex enjoys traveling and watching football with his wife and spending time with his two dogs, Bernie and Jozi.

Bridgette Bello, Founder & CEO of The Executive Collective, was the former president and publisher of the Tampa Bay Business Journal for 11 years. She is a longtime media professional with more than 30 years of experience and was the first woman publisher in the newspaper’s 40-year history. She has worked in almost every aspect of the media business from writing for a daily newspaper to buying advertising as a media buyer for ad agencies, and everything in between. Bridgette has run successful sales departments in both print and broadcast positions, as well as award-winning news teams across both platforms. In its first year of publishing, TBBW the magazine was awarded two Charlie Awards by the Florida Magazine Association. In 2022 TBBW won 2 more Charlie Awards, 2023 4 more and in 2024 won 2 more. TBBW won Small Business of the Year, in 2021 and was 1 of 27 companies in the country to be a finalist for the Small Business of the Year with the US Chamber of Commerce, in 2022. Bridgette is a previously Governor Appointed Vice Chair for St. Petersburg College board of trustees, Board of Directors emeritus for The Spring of Tampa Bay, past Chair of the American Diabetes Association Step Out Walk to stop diabetes, past Board of Governor’s Centre Club Tampa. Currently she is a CEO’S Against Cancer, Florida Chapter, Member. She was also the gala chair for the Alzheimer’s Association 2020-2021, is currently board of directors for CEO Council and chair of the World Class Programming Committee, a Project Opioid Tampa Bay Coalition member, board of Directors for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society of North Florida, previous co-chair of the 2024 Light the Night Walk and current board of directors for iRise. She also sits on the board of Tampa Bay Inferno and is a committee member for NPCF. She was the St. Petersburg Chamber “Business Woman of the Year” and Best Moms of the Bay. She is the mom of 3 beautiful 29-year-old children, all productive members of society and will became a grandma in the summer of 2024. She’s currently awaiting the birth of her first granddaughter in April.

Mr. Stockon has an extensive transportation and grant management background specializing in aviation with experience in project development and management, grant management and computer systems. Following the recent sale of Panther International, LLC, the leading grant management systems company specializing in state government transportation agencies. Chase now consults with state agencies as well as focusing on his non-profit and motorsports passions.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT: Chase currently serves as the President & Chairman of the Inferno Women’s Football Foundation. Chase has previously served on the following boards: Lion’s Eye Institute Foundation (Chairman of the Board); the Tampa Bay Technology Forum (Chairman of the Board), the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce (Military Council Chair), the statewide Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence (Board Member), The Spring of Tampa Bay (Chairman of the Committee on Infrastructure, Chairman of Budget & Performance Oversight Committee), Florida Aquarium (Chairman of the Board, Audit Committee Chairman), Leadership Florida (Regional Chair and Board of Regents), Florida League of Cities (Judge, Cities of Excellence), Florida AeroPac (Vice-Chairman, Political Action Committee), Florida Airports Council (Committee Member), National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (Advisor). Leadership Tampa Bay (Board of Directors), Transportation Research Board (Committee for Intergovernmental Relations), Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center (Vice-Chairman, Producer Board), Colorado Department of Transportation Transition Team on Aviation, and the Ryan Nece Foundation.
In addition, Chase was the Honorary Wing Commander at MacDill AFB, an honorary Deputy with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, and Tampa’s selected civic leader with USAF Air Mobility Command at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. Chase was Community Chairman of the MacDill 2014, 2016, and 2018 AirFest – and awarded the USAF Thunderbird’s Airshow Award for the best airshow in the nation for both 2014 and 2016 as well as Best Military Airshow in the Country for 2018.
Additional past associations and accomplishments include: Parke Wright III Leadership Award Winner (for Outstanding Community Service), and the Florida Airports Corporate Eagle Award Winner 2007 and 2002. Chase is a graduate of Leadership Tampa (1999 Class President), Leadership St. Petersburg, Leadership Tampa Bay, and Leadership Florida.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Chase received his Bachelor of Science degree in International Business Management from Colorado State University and received his M.B.A. in International Transportation from San Francisco State University. He has also attended graduate studies in New Mexico and Tokyo, Japan.
Chase C. Stockon served as President/CEO of Panther International, an award-winning Software as a Service (SaaS) company specializing in the transportation grant and data management industry. Chase was responsible for overseeing Panther’s 20+ years of dynamic growth and experience working with state transportation agencies across the nation spanning from Alaska to Puerto Rico, California to Massachusetts, and everything in between.
Previously, he was the Director of the NASAO/CARE (Center for Aviation Research and Education) in Washington, D.C. Prior to that, Chase was responsible for the aviation programs in the metro Denver area as Manager of Aviation Planning for Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) and an aviation planner for the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) in California.

Lauren Reyes has been with the Y for over 18 years, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer for the YMCA of Greater Boston (YGB). In her role she supports YGB’s efforts to create an equity centered organization, both for the people they serve and employ and the spaces they operate within.

She began her career working in Youth Development with the YMCA of Greater Richmond (VA), worked for the Y in Central Maryland, and the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA (FL) prior to her time in Boston. Lauren’s passion for developing others is illustrated by her commitment to various local and national projects. She is a trainer for several Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, courses offered through Y-USA.

Lauren is a past Chair of the National Emerging Leaders Resource Network, and the immediate Past Chair of the Y-USA Multicultural Advisory Committee (MAC) which exists to identify, engage, inspire, develop, promote and retain multicultural staff in order to create a pipeline of diverse cause-driven leaders at all levels and to ensure that the leadership of YMCAs reflects the diverse communities we serve. Lauren also serves as part of the GDEI Leadership Council for Y-USA.
Lauren was recognized as a WLRN “Woman of Excellence” in 2022 and currently serves on the board of the Tampa Bay Inferno Women’s Football Foundation. Lauren graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Psychology and holds both her Y-USA Organizational Leader and Global Leader certifications.

She enjoys traveling and exploring the world with her two sons.

Tiana Brockway-Horne is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation practice group. She represents clients in both the federal and state level on a variety of matters, focusing on contractual disputes, and probate and trust disputes. Tiana works closely with her clients to determine their unique needs, provide high-level understanding of all aspects of each matter, and develop unique strategies to facilitate her clients’ objectives, while navigating the litigation process efficiently and effectively. She is dedicated to providing exceptional and professional representation to her clients and building long lasting relationships.

Tiana received her law degree, with honors, including the William F. Blews Pro Bono Award, from Stetson University College of Law. While in law school, Tiana worked as a law clerk for two local litigation firms and also interned with the Pinellas County School Board and spent her second summer as a legal intern with the Hillsborough Public Defenders Office, participating in the Department of Justice’s Clemency Initiative. Tiana earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Family and Child Sciences, from Florida State University in 2012 while being a member of the FSU Women’s Soccer team.

Prior to joining Gunster, Tiana worked at a small Tampa-based law firm, where she practiced commercial litigation. She also gained experience working on tax and transactional matters, and probate and trust disputes. Tiana is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida. She is also a member of the District of Columbia Bar.

Dr. Amanda Tritsch serves as Associate Professor in the College of Medicine’s Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine and the School of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Sciences. With a strong foundation in both clinical practice and academia, she is dedicated to advancing education, research, and injury prevention in sports medicine.

Dr. Tritsch earned her Bachelor of Science in Sport Science from the University of Kansas, a Master of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Ph.D. in Kinesiology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. As an educator and researcher, she is committed to creating inclusive learning environments that effectively engage students from diverse educational backgrounds and learning styles.

Her research focuses on identifying modifiable physical characteristics that contribute to high-risk landing mechanics in adolescent athletes, particularly as they relate to ACL injury prevention. Through her work, Dr. Tritsch has helped advance the understanding of injury risk factors and is currently focused on developing clinician-friendly, field-based assessment tools that can be used to improve long-term athlete health and performance.

A member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association since 2002, Dr. Tritsch has been recognized for her excellence in education and service, earning honors including induction into the Academy of Distinguished Educators, Educator of the Year from the Athletic Trainers’ Association of Florida, and the organization’s Service Award. Her dedication to mentorship, research, and athlete well-being continues to make a lasting impact on the next generation of healthcare and sports medicine professionals.

Driven by a passion for engineering, I serve as a Senior Project Engineer at Gannett Fleming, overseeing vital transportation infrastructure projects throughout Florida.

My commitment extends beyond the professional realm to the tennis courts, where I enthusiastically compete on multiple USTA teams in Tampa. From basketball to swimming, sports have been an integral part of my life, fostering personal development and a deep appreciation for teamwork and dedication.

I am excited to channel this energy into supporting the growth of women’s football.
